Bead blasting
Bead blasting involves blowing glass beads or olivine sand onto the object using compressed air. Due to the gentle force of the blasting, dirt and residues from other materials are removed, and discoloration from welding disappears without roughening the surface.
Glass bead blasting is mainly used on stainless steel and aluminum. This method is often chosen when a low surface roughness is desired and the visual appearance of the product is important.
