Blasting

CO2 blasting, or dry-ice blasting, is a method used to clean extremely dirty machines or machine parts. The principle of dry-ice blasting is based on the powerful blasting of dry-ice particles onto the surface to be cleaned, using a dry-ice blasting machine.

The cleaning action is based on three effects:

• impact effect
• thermo shock
• micro explosion
